Sundays, April 11 and April 18
Pastor Susan and Deb are taking a well-earned break the next couple of Sundays. There will be no live worship on April 11, but please be sure to join us for a Lay Leaders worship service on April 18. Hosted by Chris and John and Paula and Scott, the service will be both in-person outdoors and streamed live on Facebook. In the event of inclement weather, notification will be here on the web site and sent to everyone before Saturday evening, April 17. Please observe Covid safety rules – mask up, social distance, wash and sanitize hands, resist the urge to hug – and get vaccinated as soon as possible. Let us LOVE ONE ANOTHER by following the rules of “safety first” so we can begin a new and better future together soon. Please contact Pastor Susan or members of the Consistory with any concerns.
Beautifying the East Cemetery
Reconstruction, final grade and seeding, and planting 10 new trees along the new, beautiful east cemetery wall are completed! Thank you Jeremiah Wright and his work crew, and Colonial Gardens, for these beautiful additions to our lovely church property and cemetery. The dedication ceremony for the new wall and trees will be announced later this year.
Trees may be purchased to remember or celebrate a loved one or an occasion for a $300 donation to St. Vincent UCC. Only 3 trees remain available. If you are interested, please contact Denise Jones, property committee chair.

One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS):
We may not be together during Sunday Services and our offerings are made via different methods these days but the need is still there. Please think of sending an offering for OGHS along with your regular offering. Thank you for the continued support.
By supporting the One Great Hour of Sharing Offering, we let love flow into communities worldwide by providing hope in adverse times. When we share our resources, it also gives us a tangible way to be present in the world and to serve beyond our local communities. OGHS supports sustainable development, disasters, and refu gee initiatives. In 2020, during the devastating fires in Oregon, we were able to be there to help leaders organize and prepare their immediate as well as long-term responses. We were proud to stand with and support these communities in their time of need. Responding to the needs of our neighbors is the primary goal of the offering.
Supporting Your Church
There have been questions about how to continue to make your offerings. Members are mailing in their offerings routinely, some have signed up for e-giving, and others have asked if they could use PayPal. Yes, you can use PayPal via the "USE APP" button on our ST. VINCENT UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST Facebook page to donate to St Vincent UCC. By pressing the blue "USE APP” bar under the large picture of the church, you can connect to your PayPal account. Then follow the PayPal instructions.
Thank you to ALL our congregants and friends that continue to support our church while socially distancing.
