Our Valentine's Day Parents Night Out Babysitting Event

Friday, February 14, PM-9PM

Parents deserve a night out every once in a while and especially when Valentine's Day falls on a Friday!  We hope you will take advantage of this opportunity.  St. Vincent's Evangelism & Fellowship Team is hosting a Babysitting Event in the social hall downstairs of the church.   Well provide dinner (Pizza?) and beverages, snacks, games, crafts, movie.  Activities will be selected by the children who attend along with our adult babysitters.  Each child may bring one friend as long as permission information has been provided.

You MUST Call or Email Pastor Susan by Monday, February 10, to make reservations for your kids with permission for each child you are dropping off.  Please remember to alert us of allergies or sensitivities to food that you want us to avoid providing and list any medications your child might be taking while at our event.

No Year-End Giving/Contribution Statement Letters

St. Vincent UCC will NOT be printing or mailing year-end giving statements for 2019.  The reason is due to the increased deductible implemented on last year's taxes.  If you would like a statement letter, please email Linda G at

Saturday Mornings with Pastor Susan - February 8, 9:30AM

The topic: Bible Blessings

Bring your Bible (or borrow one from the Pews) and let's explore together what we can find in that really old book that gives meaning to our modern lives today.

Greeters, Ushers & Offering Attendants

Are you a reliable and friendly person? Are you willing to arrive at church 15 minutes early to greet people at the door and hand out bulletins? Do you like collecting donations for the church? Then, you are destined to be a Greeter and Usher for our church services. It's an easy and fun job – just let Pastor Susan know you want to be added to the rotating roster of people who serve the church in this way and learns the ins and outs of doing so.

Scripture Readers

Do you enjoy being speaking in front of large groups of people? Would you like to share the Holy Scriptures with people on a Sunday morning?  You could be the next person on the rotating roster of Liturgists for Sunday morning worship. Pastor Susan will help you figure out if this is a “calling” for you – just ask her!

Committee Members

Would you like to be involved being the scenes of church events and activities? Do you like getting things done? We need your help! Our committees are all being re-formed as we begin our new year. Committees Chairs have been selected from the members of our Consistory – but we need members for every committee. All committees meet on their own schedule – some monthly, some quarterly, some “as needed” - but they all do important ministry and work for the good of our congregation. Find out where you can put your gifts to good use by talking to Pastor Susan or Chris Buck.

Outdoor Sign Steward

Want to help attract people to our church – Have witty religious thoughts you want to share – love being in the out-of-doors for short periods once or twice a month? Then, you may just be the next person to be steward of our outdoor sign. This is a very important ministry to both our members and our community. If you would like to try out the job of monitoring our sign – Brenda, Deb or Pastor Susan – we will show you how it's done!
