Month of November - Christmas Angel Tree: Supporting the "Children's Holiday Project"

Our Christmas Angel Tree has 33 angels placed on it by the Children's Holiday Project (CHP). Based in Pottstown, CHP began 35 years ago by Jimmy Frymoyer in an effort to help bring some Christmas joy to the needy families of the Pottstown and Spring City areas.  Please select an angel tag, purchase an UNWRAPPED gift, and return with the tag to the Angel Tree.  These gifts will be wrapped  by CHP and given to approximately 250 children in need by Santa at an annual holiday party.  If you would rather donate a Giant gift card or canned goods/nonperishable items for the holiday food boxes CHP will be distributing in December, please feel free to do so!  No gift is too small!  Please have all gifts and donations back to the church by Saturday, December 1.

Any questions, please reach out to Stephanie Walk.

Sunday, November 11 - Veterans Day:  We will honor St. Vincent members and friends who have proudly served our great nation by displaying their pictures.  Have we got yours?

Sunday, November 11 - Consistory Meeting:   Consistory meets immediately following church service.  Join us!  Being on Consistory is a wonderful opportunity to serve your church.  This is a good time to start thinking about joining Consistory for the coming years.  We will need elders and deacons starting in January.  Whether you have never been on, or have been off for a long or short time, your involvement will be welcome.  Feel free to sit in on a meeting if you would like to see how it all works, or speak with Pastor Susan or any Consistory member with questions.

Sunday, November 18 - Annual Congregational Meeting:  Immediately following worship.  Mark your calendar and plan to attend!  The input and participation of all members of our congregation are welcome.  We will be reviewing 2018 committee reports, electing new Consistory members, and voting on the proposed 2019 budget.  When you receive your annual report, it will include an updated membership & friends directory.  If your contact information has changed, be sure to email any updates to

Friday, November 30 @ 6:30PM - Decorate the Church:  Join us for this year's Advent workshop.  We will be decorating the sanctuary, enjoying fellowship and singing carols.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Sunday, December 2 @ 3PM - East Coventry Union of Churches Advent Worship Service:  Mark your calendar now for the Advent Worship Service conducted by the East Coventry Union of Churches. This combined service of six area churches will be held at Bethel United Methodist Church, Spring City.  It will include special music by the award-winning choir from Eastern University.  We are very excited about this special event and hope that you will join us to celebrate the beginning of the most beautiful season in the life of the church.

December 10-14 - St. Mary's Shelter:  St. Vincent will be providing and delivering meals to 12-14 residents of St. Mary's Shelter the week of December 10-14.  We must have our meals to the shelter in time for them to serve at 3PM, so often we take them the evening prior.  If you prepare a meal, we can pick it up and deliver to St. Mary's.  Or if you can deliver, we will pair you with a cook on the chosen day. Please note - if you don't have time to cook, you can get creative about providing a meal.  Purchase a ham and provide boxed scalloped potatoes and the shelter will do the prep. Or the kids love Giant fried chicken with bags of French fries. See Cheryl P for other ideas like this.  There will be a sign up sheet in the rear of the sanctuary as time gets closer.

Sunday, December 16 @ 3PM - Christmas Cantata:  Our wonderful choir will be performing "An Evening in December" by Tom Fettke in our church sanctuary.  Please join us for an uplifting time of celebrating our Savior's birth. Bring a friend!

Monday, December 24 - Christmas Eve Communion worship will be at 5PM.  All are welcome
